Enesoon - Proposal
Proposal of hybrid smart energy system to reduce energy & HVAC costs for University of Ghana Medical Center.
Submitted proposal & pitched to Ghana officials & investors as a part of global business development efffort for a portfolio company, Enesoon. The Accra Ghana Proposal aims at leveraging advanced thermal energy storage and heat transferring technologies to enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The project proposes the installation of a Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) system at the University of Ghana Medical Center, capable of generating 10MWe and producing 45 TWh annually. With an estimated net capital cost of $40 million, the project is expected to have a 13% Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and a Net Present Value (NPV) of $10.1 million. The CSP system, which has been validated by existing projects like the Suqian CSP Research Center in China, will significantly reduce CO2 emissions by 32,000 tons annually compared to traditional oil and gas plants, while maintaining a low Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) at $0.065 per kWh.
The proposal emphasizes the technological advancements underpinning the project, including high-efficiency heat pumps, proprietary thermal energy storage solutions using patented nano salts, and a hybrid smart energy system (HSES) that optimizes multiple energy sources. These core technologies, combined with Enesoon's expertise, enable a scalable, modular, and cost-effective approach to energy management. The project aims to not only provide a reliable and low-cost energy source for the medical center but also to contribute to Ghana's broader goals of sustainable development and energy independence. The detailed financial and operational analysis provided in the proposal highlights the project's potential for high returns, low environmental impact, and scalability to meet future energy demands.
